Tonight’s a lonely night
I am surrounded by eternal blues
The sorrows within my heart
Why wouldn’t they depart?

Tonight’s a lonely night
I am questioning myself
Have I treated you bad?
Have I made you sad?

Tonight’s a lonely night
My heart is broken
Of the pieces I gathered
Another piece shatters

Tonight’s a lonely night
I shed tears for you
With each tear dripped down my face
Another memory erased

Tonight’s a lonely night
And it is the night
I surrender my love
Because you didn’t give me what I deserve

Tonight’s a lonely night
I ponder tomorrow
One special girl comes along
One that wouldn’t do me wrong

Tonight’s a lonely night
I am waiting for the day
She descends within sight
And with her, comes shining heaven’s light

Tonight’s a lonely night
My angel has yet to appear
And all the pain I feel
Tonight’s still… a lonely night

“You Are The Sun” Teens Love Poems

Watching the world through a blacked-out window
You see no sun,
Yet people see light shining in your eyes,
You are the sun for others

Watching children play, wishing you were them,
You start to cry,
People see your child- like tears,
Yet nobody seems to care

Giving light to others,
You realize you’re alone
Your flame is burning brightly
Yet you still feel blind

But if you look deep into your heart, and open the window,
You realize,
You are the sun,
Your stars need your brightness,

And one day you will find the special star,
Which will add to your flame,
And you will burn brighter then ever,
Spreading joy and happiness for miles around.
